EPW - Unsigned Swiss, tandem-winding minute repeater sonnerie clockwatch, 50mm, heavy 18K gold original HC, gold cuvette, white enamel SS dial, slide under dial at 1:30 for selection of sonnerie or silence, SW-shift-locking-LS, lever escapement with capped escape wheel, strike train jeweled through hammers, 23-30J, gilt mvt, s#219414 within case. Gross weight of assembled watch 65.6 dwt (102.2 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: NR, repeat mechanism is currently stalled in engagement and watch has stopped with minute hand at 12 and setting mechanism having a stop at this point which should not be advanced through, balance swings freely, repeat function gave a partial return only on initial trial before stalling during its engagement, this incomplete repeat strike with repeat mechanism remaining in engagement has caused watch to stop running along with causing its setting issue, overhaul needed, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, good gilt tone, some micro-fine scratches, missing one barrel bridge screw; dial with faint hl above center, tiny surface nick above center; fine hands, minute with patch of oxide near its mid-point; case shows little wear, some fine scratches and profuse micro-fine scratches, two dings to upper rear, ding or nick to band at 10:30; tight bow, crown shows very light wear; good glass crystal.
